Cheap credit comes first
Courses you can take through lower cost providers should be done before you enroll at your university. Once you enroll, you are paying university tuition for every term you are there.
Some courses unlock others
Many courses have prerequisites. You have to finish one course before the school lets you start the next. If you skip ahead, you can get stuck waiting.
Not every course has to be taken at the school
Some courses can be done outside the university and transferred in. Others have to be taken at the school itself. Many degrees also require a set number of upper-level credits. Knowing which is which keeps you from paying tuition for courses you could have done for less.
Put hard courses where you have time
Courses with heavy writing or accounting usually take longer. Plan them for times when you have more hours to study, not during your busiest weeks.
What a good plan shows
A good plan lists every course you need, where to take it, and when. That is what a Blueprint is for.
School rules change. Always confirm the current policy with your school before you enroll or take a course.
